The CONTROP C-VIEW is a compact maritime IR observation system that was designed for patrol boats, ships, and other maritime vessels, specifically for harbour security applications. This 3 gimbal gyro stabilised system was designed to work perfectly on board small boats which tend to 'jump a lot' in the waves and require a very stabilised camera system. The C-VIEW has an uncooled IR camera with a unique IR Continous Zoom lens. It is remote controlled, allowing the operator to be inside a dry/safe location and not requiring the operator to be outside on the deck. The C-VIEW operates in Observation Mode, providing real time IR video. It includes a special coated Germanium window, for optimized performance in various environmental condition. The C-VIEW is easy to install and highly cost effective.
The CONTROP DANIS is a day/night integrated system which is ideal for larger boats in port or at sea anchorage. Years of operational experinece has proven that for shipborne protection onboard larger boats at close ranges, a stabilized system is not required. For this reason, the DANIS, which is not a stabilized system, ensures low cost with high effectiveness in protection against terrorist attacks. The DANIS is suitable for the requirements of close ranges in ports and has the characteristics of high end observation sytems but at a much more cost effective prices. The DANIS is a remote controlled two axes Pan and Tilt Day and night Observation System with an Uncooled IR camera with a Continuous Optical Zoom lens and a CCD camera with a Continuous Optical Zoom Lens. The two cameras move together so that the operator may switch between the cameras when both of them are looking at the same object. It is perfect for ranges up to 1,000.
